  1. Casey says:

Hah, I just listened to the post-cast commentary. It’s ironic that your idea was to see how long you could eat hot dogs while watching gay porn, literally a minute after you’re talking about how being a hero isn’t about being braver, just being braver for five minutes longer.

  2. Casey says:

Also, on that story on the Kid in Texas, I’d read that one of the two survivors is paralyzed from the waist down, and has permanent brain damage. Her outlook for survival wasn’t good, but if she DOES pull through, she’s pretty much going to need 24 hour care for her safety because of the brain damage.
Why in the blue hell should he not be responsible for the damage that he’s caused those peoples’ lives? There’s the whole “ignorance of the law isn’t a viable excuse,” but apparently money makes it a different story.
Take solace in this- it’s TEXAS. Odds are, 80+% of the family members of the victims probably have guns and a vengeful attitude.

    • Eric says:

It’s a story that makes you want to rise up against the rich. I don’t believe in karma, but I hope he gets his in the end.

      • Russ says:

Viva la resistance!!! I know jack shit about guns and even if I did my aiming eye is lazy, but I have a machete and play a lot of real time strategy video games. Let’s DO this!

      • JP says:

I don’t know where I heard this but I think that there was a petition going around to have a re-trial with a different judge in hopes of getting him charged with everything

        • Russ says:

I’m not sure a petition will do any good once a ruling is handed down. Appeal after appeal until you find someone with some common sense and morality.

  3. Casey says:

Oh, Russ… Your confession on your virginity hit home pretty hard for me.
Ask Toby and Eric, I’m pretty sure I was the only person, at 18, out of a staff of like 25 at Wendy’s who was a virgin. It was kind of pitiful, considering some of the people I worked with…
So, just so you know, I don’t think any less of ya for it!

    • Russ says:

At this point I’m pretty much past it, but for a while it really bothered me that I wasted all those years not gettin’ down to business when I had the chance.

  4. JP says:

Russ, if I had the money, I’d definitely do the same thing you would do for that case, and make sure that kid was either in court the rest of his life or to make sure he was charged with something. Also I’m pretty sure a fractured penis is when it is hard, the spongy material snaps under pressure, though it is not a bone, it can still snap when forced, though I’m not positive on this information. And by the way, I love you guys <3
